What makes CA Campus unique?

If you would like to know why CA Campus is unique then this blog entry is for you!

  • CA Campus is the leader in online CTA support. We were the first support provider to offer Unisa CTA classes online and have been doing so successfully for six years. We use the best technology to record and deliver our classes. Our programme is tried and tested.
  • Our classes are recorded in studio and not in front of a live class. This ensures high quality recordings without interruptions. Some service providers view online as secondary to their main business – at CA Campus online students are our only focus.
  • CA Campus has a lecturing team to boast about:
    • All lecturers have extensive experience working with Unisa students.
    • All lecturers have worked at SAICA-accredited universities.
    • All lecturers have set university exams for degree purposes.
    • All lecturers are either owners and/or employees of CA Campus. Our lectures are not outsourced to part-time lecturers or contractors.
    • Our lecturers are subject specialists. For example, you will never see our auditing lecturer presenting a management accounting class.
  • Our full programme includes a comprehensive support package:
    • Vibrant online community with regular engagement and support from the CA Campus lecturers, mentors and other students.
    • The programme is designed in such a way to provide a manageable approach for working students. All registered students are provided with a suggested study timetable which sets aside time for watching lectures, self-study, attempting tutorial questions, marking tutorial questions and watching tutorials. The CA Campus lecturers also provide weekly guidance indicating what should be done for each subject each week. You just need to follow the programme!
    • Students are provided with high quality lecture notes which are continuously improved upon.
    • CA Campus lecturers start by covering the theory (rules, principles, legislation, etc.) and then demonstrate how to apply the theory by working through tutorial questions.
      • When covering the theory lecturers start with the basics and build up to the more challenging parts of the syllabus. It is important to us that students understand principles and not simply memorise a rule.
      • In the tutorial recording the lecturer will tackle the question, pointing out and explaining important principles, common mistakes and good exam technique.
    • Lecturers use the IFRS, ISA and various Tax Acts in their lectures and assist students in using these resources.
    • Students are provided with mock test and exam questions
    • Lecturers are available for consultation via email and the student platform.
